Are you an experienced Accountant looking for a varied role where you can take real ownership of the finance function?

Autograph Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with an established engineering and manufacturing business based in Cinderford. Backed by a successful global group, the company manufactures high-quality, specialist products and offers a stable and supportive working environment.

This is a key, standalone position where you will manage the day-to-day financial processes and accounting systems across the business. You’ll also work closely with the production and purchasing teams, giving you genuine involvement in the wider operation.

With administrative support provided, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys responsibility and wants to become a valued part of a growing business.

Responsibilities of Accountant:

• Managing financial controls and day-to-day accounting processes

• Preparing accurate financial reports

• Maintaining and improving accounting systems

• Working closely with the production and purchasing teams

• Supporting the wider business with financial information and guidance

• Ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date

You will have:

• Previous experience in an Accountant or similar finance position

• Experience within manufacturing, production or engineering

• An AAT qualification or similar

• A confident, hands-on and organised approach

• The ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function
