Our client
Autograph Recruitment are working alongside a growing and progressive practice with an office based in Bristol. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint an Accounts & Audit Senior to join their team.
This role is ideal if you have a strong background in audit and financial reporting and are looking to develop your career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm. Experience within the charity and not-for-profit sector would be advantageous, but full training can be provided.
Responsibilities
- You will be leading audits from planning through to completion, identifying key risks and setting audit strategy
- You will be allocating work across the audit team, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
- You will be reviewing and signing off work prepared by junior team members
- You will be acting as the main point of contact for clients during audits, proactively handling queries and building strong working relationships
- You will be preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, including consolidated accounts where applicable
- You will be preparing detailed audit reports and presenting findings to managers and partners
Key Skills & Competencies
- You will be ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified (or equivalent), with proven experience managing audits and preparing accounts
- You will ideally have experience working with charities or not-for-profit organisations, although this is not essential
- You will be confident using Xero, Sage and QuickBooks, along with Microsoft Excel for analysis and scheduling
