A supportive firm in the South West is looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant to their growing team. This is a great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to develop and progress their career further in a dynamic and growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly payment runs
- Support with VAT returns and compliance
- Handle month-end processes including journals, reconciliations and reporting
- Manage prepayments and accruals
- Collaborate with internal finance teams and support multiple client accounts
The ideal candidate
- AAT Qualified
- Experience in a UK accountancy practice
- The successful candidate should be ambitious and progression is available for the right person
- Good communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
- Ideally have experience of working with Xero Accounting Software
