Responsibilities of Accounts Assistant:
- Processing invoices from start to finish
- Setting up supplier accounts and maintaining good supplier relationships and answering their enquiries
- Prepare accounting reports using Excel data
- Follow up on late payments
- Issuing credit notes when necessary
- Processing Payroll
- Processing weekly and monthly payment runs, both cheque and electronic
- Reconcile accounts and supplier statements
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
The ideal candidate:
You will, ideally, be local to the area, and have previous experience in a similar role. You will be able to work autonomously in a dynamic, busy environment.
The successful candidate must also have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. This is a great opportunity to work for a growing business.
