Job Title: Senior Agricultural Accounts Manager

Overview:
We are working with a highly reputable and long-established accountancy practice in the South West that is looking to appoint a Senior Agricultural Accounts Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a specialist team, managing a diverse portfolio of rural and agricultural clients while playing a key role in the firm’s continued growth.
The Role:
- Managing a portfolio of agricultural and rural clients, providing a full range of accounting and advisory services
- Reviewing and preparing year-end accounts, as well as associated tax returns
- Overseeing VAT return preparation and ensuring compliance
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, handling day-to-day queries and providing strategic advice
- Supporting business development activities and promoting additional services
- Managing workflows, deadlines, and billing across the portfolio
- Working closely with senior leadership on client matters and projects
- Leading, mentoring, and developing junior team members
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong background within an accountancy practice
- Proven experience working with agricultural or rural clients, including relevant tax knowledge
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage client portfolios effectively
- Commercial awareness and an interest in business development
- Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and support a team
