We’re working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice based in Cardiff, now looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Manager to join their collaborative team on a hybrid basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional who enjoys managing client relationships, overseeing a portfolio, and playing a key role in the continued success of a forward-thinking firm.
The Role
- Managing a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of sectors
- Reviewing year-end accounts, management accounts, and tax computations
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing clear and proactive advice
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Working closely with senior leadership on client strategy and business development opportunities
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
The Candidate
- ACCA or ACA qualified (essential)
- Previous experience within a practice environment at Manager level or ready to step up
- Strong technical knowledge across accounts and tax
- Confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment
