Autograph Recruitment is currently partnering with a well-established accounting firm in Newport to recruit an Accounts Senior for their growing team. You're someone who knows how to prepare limited company accounts with confidence. You’ve worked in a busy accountancy practice before, and you’re comfortable using Xero, along with other accountancy software. Not only are you technically sharp, but you also enjoy mentoring junior staff and supporting their growth. You're confident meeting clients face-to-face, able to handle sensitive or complex queries professionally and with care. Whether you're on-site or on the phone, you represent your firm with credibility and clarity. You stay current with attending webinars, learning continuously, and keeping your knowledge fresh. You're proactive, dependable, and ready for a new challenge in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete limited company accounts
- Reconciliation of all accounts
- Provide support and mentor junior team members
- Client facing - Responding to ad hoc client queries in a timely manner
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge through webinars and ongoing learning
