About the Role
We are partnering with a well-established accountancy practice in Brecon that is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior to join their growing team. This role will focus primarily on the preparation of limited company accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting a varied client portfolio. It is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys technical accounts work and wants to be part of a collaborative office-based team.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and complete limited company accounts for a range of clients
• Review financial records and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
• Prepare working papers and supporting documentation for accounts preparation
• Liaise with clients to obtain relevant financial information and resolve queries
• Ensure accounts are prepared in line with current accounting standards and deadlines
• Support junior team members where required
The Ideal Candidate
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
• Strong experience preparing limited company accounts
• Confident using Xero and other accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication skills when dealing with clients and colleagues
