A well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Torbay is looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior or Senior to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive, collaborative environment with a varied client portfolio across sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

• Completing related tax compliance work

• Working closely with clients to provide tailored and proactive support

• Managing incomplete records efficiently and accurately

• Adapting to a range of client industries and business types

You’ll be reporting directly to a Client Manager and will play a key part in maintaining the firm’s strong service standards and commitment to client care.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous accountancy practice experience is essential

• Confident, organised, and proactive with strong attention to detail

• Able to work well both independently and as part of a small team

• Experience using IRIS, Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage is advantageous (not essential)

This role would suit someone currently working within an accountancy practice who’s looking to progress within a friendly and professional firm.

Package & Benefits
