The Opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Audit Senior ready to take the next step, or an existing Audit Manager seeking a move to a progressive and flexible practice environment.
While this position is primarily an Audit Manager role, the successful candidate will need to have a good understanding of and a willingness to be involved in accounts preperation, as the practice undertakes very few “pure audits.” Clients value the audit team’s ability to assist with accounts matters as part of the audit process.
The firm currently undertakes around 90 audits, ranging from large groups to small owner-managed companies, covering a variety of sectors including charities, solicitors and travel. Experience in these specialisms is desirable but not essential, in-house training will be provided.
Responsibilities:

Leading and planning audits, acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the process

Working across a range of clients, including international groups, corporates, not-for-profits, and SMEs

Providing support and technical insight on accounts preparation matters

Managing and developing junior team members

Working closely with Audit Partners and the wider team to maintain high-quality service delivery

Supporting the firm’s growth plans and contributing to internal initiatives
The Ideal Candidate:

ACA/ACCA qualified with relevant audit experience / QBE

Strong technical understanding of audit and accounts preparation

Experience in or enthusiasm for working across varied sectors (charities, solicitors, travel, etc.)

Approachable, proactive, and collaborative in their approach

Committed to continuous professional development and career progression
