Audit Senior / Semi Senior

Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE
Our client, a well-established and growing accountancy practice based in central Bristol, is looking to strengthen its audit team with the addition of an Audit Senior / Semi Senior.
This opportunity would suit someone with UK accountancy practice experience and a strong audit background who is looking to join a supportive firm offering exposure to a specialist client portfolio and excellent long-term career opportunities. The firm is open to both part-qualified and fully qualified candidates who are looking to continue developing their career within audit and accounts.
The Role
As part of the team, you will be involved in a varied role, including:
- Leading and assisting on audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Preparing audit fieldwork and supporting documentation
- Working closely with managers and partners to deliver audits efficiently and to a high standard
- Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the audit process
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
- Working across a specialist and varied client portfolio
- You will gain exposure to a broad range of assignments, allowing you to further strengthen both your technical expertise and client-facing skills.
About You
- Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice environment
- Strong audit experience gained within practice is essential
- ACA / ACCA part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience candidates will be considered
- Experience leading or supporting audits from planning through to completion
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
