Autograph Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with an established and growing business based in Chepstow. We are looking for a confident and driven Business Development Executive to join its ambitious sales team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating new opportunities and turning conversations into long-term business. You will take ownership of developing a strong pipeline while working closely with the wider team to support continued growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective customers through calls, emails and networking

• Build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities

• Develop relationships with new and existing customers

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions

• Prepare quotations, proposals and sales presentations

• Follow up enquiries and confidently progress opportunities

• Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline progress

• Work towards individual and company sales targets

• Represent the business professionally at meetings and industry events

The ideal candidate

• Previous experience within sales, business development or account management

• Confident communicating with customers by telephone, email and face-to-face

• A proactive and self-motivated approach

• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills

• Commercially aware with a genuine drive to achieve results

• Organised, resilient and comfortable working towards targets

• A full UK driving licence would be advantageous
