Position: Full time, Permanent
Salary: Circa £28,000 DOE

Responsibilities of Buyer:
- Source and buy materials, parts, and subcontracted services.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and supplier terms.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Create and manage purchase orders through the ERP/MRP system.
- Track inventory levels and assist with production planning.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Handle supplier and delivery issues promptly and professionally.
- Support new product development by sourcing new materials.
- Provide cover for logistics and shipping when required.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must have Buying / Purchasing experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent IT and computer skills, proficient across Microsoft platforms
- Ability to work well in a team as well as on own initiative
- Working to deadlines efficiently, with high attention to detail
