We are a fast-growing and progressive accountancy practice, providing a high-quality, added-value service to clients across Devon and North Cornwall. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Client Manager to join our team.
Role Overview:
The Client Manager will be responsible for managing their own block of clients, delivering year-end and advisory meetings, reviewing and finalising accounts, and handling tax work. The role will also involve mentoring junior team members and undertaking various ad-hoc duties as required.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress, with potential to advance to a senior leadership role — including heading up one of our offices.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of clients across Devon and North Cornwall

Conduct year-end meetings and provide proactive advisory support

Oversee accounts preparation and review, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Handle corporate and personal tax work

Review and finalise accounts for a variety of clients

Support and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and providing guidance

Attend client premises as required to provide on-site support

Undertake ad-hoc duties to support the wider practice
Requirements:

ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience (QBE)

Currently working in an accountancy practice

Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and UK tax

Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Willingness and ability to travel to client sites
