This position is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to progress and step up their career. Liaising with worldwide customers, this role will involve ensuring efficiency in the despatch and export orders.
Responsibilities of Export Administrator:
- Accountable for the smooth running of timely despatch of customer orders
- Ensuring complete compliance documentation and providing to customers
- Oversee stock levels, regular stock count and ordering replacements / replenishments
- Report and maintain performances, including monitoring KPI’s and holding review meetings
- Sign off / approve appropriate purchase orders and invoices
- Assisting with international shipments and being responsible for shipping and delivery
- Ensure compliance with laws and licences whilst shipping nationally and internationally (including outside of the EU)
- Raising commercial invoices after confirming delivery/collection of goods
- Updating global shipping procedures and documentations
- Carry out audits for all warehouse equipment for customer stock availability
- Ensure all outgoing deliveries are timely and including all required documentation for customers
- Provide monthly customer reports regarding status and movements of international logistics activities
- Maintaining accuracy in the Export log book and files
The Ideal Candidate:
- Prior experience in an international logistics or export role
- Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues
- Problem-solving and a ‘can do’ attitude
- Knowledge of international trade would be a bonus
- Manage time and workload effectively and efficiently
- Proficient across Microsoft platforms and IT literate
- Ability to multi task and work within fast-paced environments to deadlines
- Self-motivated, able to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
- Experience with SAP or ERP systems
