Autograph Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a specialist tax business in Newport for a Graduate Client Manager to join their friendly, supportive team.
If you enjoy working with people, have a good eye for detail and are comfortable with numbers, this could be an excellent opportunity to build a career in professional services.
You don’t need previous tax experience. Our client is looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and the ambition to progress. Full training will be provided, helping you develop your technical knowledge while gaining hands-on experience supporting clients across the UK.
What will you be doing?
You’ll support clients throughout their experience with the business, gathering information, answering queries and working closely with experienced colleagues to ensure work is accurate and completed on time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships with clients and supporting them over the phone and by email
- Gathering, reviewing and processing financial information and supporting documents
- Using Excel to organise and check client data
- Following up on missing information and keeping clients informed of progress
- Supporting the tax team with client administration and day-to-day queries
- Maintaining accurate records and checking your work carefully
- Developing your understanding of tax services and taking on more responsibility as your knowledge grows
What are we looking for?
This role would suit a recent graduate who is keen to learn, enjoys solving problems and wants a role with clear development opportunities.
You’ll need to be:
- Confident communicating with clients and colleagues
- Organised, with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with numbers and data
- Curious and willing to ask questions
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Proactive and motivated to take responsibility
- A team player who enjoys building relationships
