Position: Full time, Permanent (Hybrid work available)
Salary: Up to £35,000 p/a + bonus & benefits

The Opportunity
Due to a continuous volume of growth and projects, my clients are now looking for a dynamic Inhouse Recruiter to join their fast-paced office in Caldicot. This is an exciting new role for my client, with a growing amount of opportunity. Supported by the senior management team, this role will promote and maintain the great reputation of our client, promoting my client as a key and leading employer in the industry.
As the sites grow, there is a need for a passionate, knowledgeable, and reputable Recruiter. This professional individual will oversee all operational resource for the projects. This position will also be responsible for shaping the new Talent Acquisition Team, as my client experience an increasing amount of opportunity in their market. This role will both improve and oversee the onboarding process, as well as communicate with current agencies, whilst identifying great talent and possible weaknesses. Working alongside the Talent Manager, this role offers an excellent career opportunity for a Recruiter looking to work inhouse, enabling them to be a part of growing a new department.

Responsibilities of Internal Recruiter:
- Source and recruit high calibre and appropriate candidates for the business, using a range of tools
- Communicating with different agencies
- Advertise and market vacancies appropriately
- Manage both temporary and permanent recruitment throughout the business simultaneously
- Short-listing candidates from applications and agencies
- Overseeing onboarding candidates, evaluating and improving the process
- Conducting screening and interviews as required, virtually and face-to-face
- Following up with candidates during their first couple of weeks of employment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Recruitment background, following the full recruitment process
- An understanding or exposure to the construction industry
- Ability to conduct interviews and screening calls
- Ability to manage various roles and candidates at a time
- Great commination and organisation skills
- Proficient across Microsoft platforms, as well as recruiter tools
- Some HR knowledge
- Ability to work as part of a team and deliver strong results
