Autograph Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well established and growing accountancy practice in North Bristol who are looking to appoint a Payroll Assistant/Manager to join their friendly and experienced team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who enjoys managing a varied client portfolio and is looking to join a supportive practice where they can continue to develop their career.
You will be:
- Processing end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of approximately 200 clients.
- Processing statutory payments, pension submissions and year-end payroll requirements.
- Providing payroll advice and responding to client queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensuring payrolls are processed accurately and remain compliant with current HMRC legislation.
- Building strong relationships with clients and delivering an excellent level of service.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous payroll experience within an accountancy practice.
- Has strong technical payroll knowledge and a good understanding of current payroll legislation.
- Has experience using BrightPay (highly desirable).
- Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Can manage multiple client payrolls while working to strict deadlines.
- Enjoys building relationships and providing outstanding client service.
