Our client, a growing accountancy practice in North Bristol, is seeking a skilled Payroll Officer/Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your expertise will be valued, and your career can continue to grow.
You will:
- Process weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, and monthly payrolls for a variety of clients
- Manage BACS payments and submit HMRC returns, including CIS submissions
- Upload pension data to various pension providers
- Complete all year-end submissions accurately and on time
- Communicate directly with clients, providing expert guidance and high-quality service
You are:
- Experienced in payroll processing within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau
- Proficient in BrightPay, Sage, and Xero
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
