Construction Project Manager
Salary: £40,000 DOE
Location: Newport or West Midlands
Role: Permanent
Autograph recruitment is working with a growing, rapidly expanding company looking to recruit a Construction Project Manager. Our client is based in Newport and are looking to develop their 5 current ongoing projects as well as add to their portfolio in the coming years. They operate as a self-storage provider so would ideally need someone who has experience in project managing on a commercial site.
The role:
- Manage organisation of in-house projects.
- Delivering projects on time, within scope and within budget.
- Co-ordinate internal resources, third party suppliers and contractors.
- Developing plans to track progress.
- Managing relationships with all parties involved.
- Risk management.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Managing maintenance on existing current stores.
Requirements:
- Track record working in construction, fit out and building project management.
- Excellent technical background – Hands on experience would be an advantage.
- Proven written/verbal communication and organisational skills.
- Working knowledge using project managing software.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Individual and team working skills.
- Experience or qualification (RICS) in Quantity Surveying would be an advantage.
