About the Role:
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Semi-Senior Accountant to join a dynamic accountancy practice. This role is ideal for someone partway through their professional qualifications and looking to develop their skills further in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Assist with the preparation of VAT returns and tax computations.
- Undertake bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records for clients.
- Support with the preparation of management accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
- Liaise with clients to gather information and address queries.
- Support senior accountants and managers with ad hoc projects.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or AAT (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working within an accountancy practice is essential.
- Good knowledge of accounting software, such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
