Job Title: Senior Contracts Manager

Autograph Recruitment are working with a company in Gloucester and surrounding areas who are looking to appoint a Senior Contracts manager to support their ongoing operations. The role will suit an individual that is hard-working and versatile as the role is varied. The successful candidate must be able to manage construction projects to a high standard but also possess good people management skills. You must be open-minded in your approach due to the nature of the industry. You will have a thorough understanding of Health and Safety and have a strong focus on delivering projects efficiently but safely.
Job Purpose
To oversee allocated construction projects in terms of programme, resource management, recording and reporting procedures and liaison with commercial team to ensure the protection of the company.
Responsibilities
- To ensure that site management supervise and co-ordinate staff, Sub-Contractors, agency labour, material suppliers, Plant and Utility providers to ensure an efficient method of work to the required quality and programme schedule.
- Scheduling/programming work to be carried out to ensure production targets are achieved and high quality of work is maintained on all projects under your control.
- Ensure that production targets are met whilst producing the highest quality of product and ensuring costs are kept within budget across all projects under your control.
- Manage and deliver the Group’s Health and Safety expectations.
- To assist where required with the preparation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Assist in the active recruitment of Direct Skilled Operatives and Sub Contractors, Setting Out Engineers together with the promotion of our training programme.
- Liaise with clients to ensure the highest possible customer care performance/satisfaction and complete all relevant inspections and documentation.
