I’m working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Newport that is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join their team.
You’ll manage your own portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, with a good mix of compliance and advisory work. There’s genuine scope to build client relationships, get involved in tax planning and take the next step in your career.
What you’ll be doing:

Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients

Preparing Corporation Tax and Self-Assessment returns
-
Advising on CGT and tax planning opportunities
-
Dealing with client queries and HMRC
-
Preparing sole trader and partnership accounts
-
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
-
Building strong, long-term client relationships
About you:

Strong tax experience within accountancy practice
-
Comfortable managing your own client portfolio
-
Confident across personal and corporate tax
-
Good communicator with a client-focused approach
-
Keen to develop your advisory experience
