Job Description: Tax Manager (Exeter)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join a practice team in Exeter. You will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory work, and support the development of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review personal and corporate tax compliance work.

• Provide clear, proactive tax planning and advisory support.

• Maintain strong client relationships as their main tax contact.

• Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring high-quality outputs.

• Contribute to process improvements, planning, and business development.

Person Specification

• ATT and/or CTA qualified, or equivalent strong experience.

• Previous experience in UK tax within an accountancy practice.

• Confident in managing a varied portfolio and advisory projects.

• Strong communication, technical accuracy, and organisational skills.

• Able to lead, support, and develop team members effectively.
