A well-established accountancy practice in Taunton is seeking an experienced Tax Senior or Tax Manager to join its growing tax team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with a solid background in UK compliance and advisory work, looking to take on a client-facing role with real responsibility and progression.
The Role
You will manage a varied portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services while working closely with partners and senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:

Preparation and review of personal tax returns, corporation tax returns, and trust tax returns

Managing tax compliance deadlines and client correspondence

Advising clients on tax planning matters where appropriate

Supporting and mentoring junior team members

Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients

Keeping up to date with UK tax legislation and technical developments

Identifying opportunities to add value to client relationships
(At Manager level, the role will also include oversight of workflow, staff development, and contributing to the growth of the tax function.)
About You

CTA OR ATT qualified, ACA/ACCA with strong tax experience, or qualified by experience

Proven experience in UK tax compliance within an accountancy practice

Strong exposure to corporation tax and trust tax

Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Confident communicator with a professional, client-focused approach
